Resumo

The article presents the results of the evaluation of the data of high-resolution computed tomography (CT) of the lung in 113 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) with interstitial lung disease (ILD) with various inflammatory activity and duration of the disease. It has been shown that ILD in RA is characterized by predominant involvement of lower basal lung segments in process. Increasing number of affected segments of the lung and the severity of structural changes in the interstitium is correlated with the duration of RA. Symptom of «frosted glass», CT-symptom in ILD, is associated with inflammatory activity of RA and damage of the lower basal segments, and CT symptom of «honeycomb lung» is associated with involvement of all parts of the lungs, and low to moderate inflammatory activity of the disease.
