Abstract
The paper examines the influence of heat hardening temperature and drawback on the properties of molded steel for hot deformation of the following mixture: 0,36-0,44% C and 3, 5 and 8% Cr. The optimal hardening temperature and drawback is offered. The effect of chromium on the mechanical properties of forged steel is studied.
