Automated control-test stand for study of automobile and bus generator sets
Abstract
The article considers the design of a stand for automated study of automobile and bus generator sets. The main types of drives and control systems for the stand are considered. The optimal type and capacity of asynchronous motor drive and control unit are chosen. Automated software-based measurement system for studying energy and thermal processes is developed. A diagram for the study of transient processes in the electrical system in real operation is presented in the paper. An automated control algorithm for asynchronous drive of the stand is shown.

Mathematical modeling of piston movement in a cylinder
Abstract
The article proposes a mathematical model of the dynamics of piston movement in a cylinder in a layer of grease. The basic equations of the piston movement, the equations describing the problem of elastohydrodynamic friction of the piston skirt in a cylinder, and the algorithm of their simultaneous solution are considered.

Assessment of changes in characteristics of clutch unit and linkage during operation of a passenger car
Abstract
In the operation of a friction clutch a number of characteristics is changed that affect the ergonomics of the clutch control and adhesion margin for transmitted torque. The article analyzes the changes occurring in the clutch during its operation and the impact of these changes on the ergonomics of the clutch control.

Electric power steering for a car
Abstract
The article considers the problems of the development of a functional block diagram of the electric power steering system for a vehicle based on the frequency-controlled induction motor. The authors give a specific example of such a scheme and examine the principle of its work. Circuit diagrams of basic units of the system are presented.

Development of common algorithms of control unit for long-haul tractor with hybrid power plant
Abstract
The article describes the design concepts and implementation of control algorithms for a combined power plant (CPP) of a long-haul tractor. The control algorithm of an automatic transmission as part of CPP is presented in the article. A model of the control unit for a car with CPP, implemented in MATLAB/Simulink, is given.

Abstract
The article presents the author's thoughts on the most promising areas of evolution of tractor designs, based on the analysis of the impact of new design solutions on consumer properties of tractors. Abstract
This article analyzes the history of science, industry and art, in terms of technological progress, as well as the practical, theoretical and conceptual aspects of society. The article reflects the relationship between these areas and demonstrates a tendency to their convergence and growth of the importance of concept-projects in the technical design noted in retrospective since ancient times to the 19th century.
