Abstract

The article summarizes the requirements for a modern doctor, emphasizes the need for knowledge of current features of internal medicine, such as the need to manage the risks of major diseases, comorbidity, etc. Improvement of professional skills of the clinician requires close interaction with morphologist, accounting of autopsies data. We give two clinical observations in which there has been a discrepancy between clinical and anatomopathological diagnosis. In the first case registered over diagnosis of myocardial infarction in the second - colon cancer with liver metastases was mistakenly diagnosed, whereas the patients had bacterial polypus - ulcerative endocarditis of aortic valve with multiple liver abscesses.
