Abstract

The choice of neuroprotector citicoline (Ceraxon), reasoned by evidence-based research in stroke and chronic brain ischemia, for the treatment of the consequences of brain injury is presented in the paper. International multicenter studies, comparative meta-analysis of existing results of treatment of patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and its consequences with the use of citicoline (Ceraxon) are discussed. The recommended circuit to use the drug at various stages of treatment of victims with traumatic brain trauma is presented.
