IBEROGAST - EFFECTIVE PHYTOTHERAPY OF FUNCTIONAL DISORDERS OF THE GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT

Аннотация

The article describes the clinical and biopharmaceutical information about the effectiveness and safety of the use of combined herbal drug Iberogast in multi-purpose therapy of functional pathology of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) - irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and functional dyspepsia (FD). Considering the concept of influence on a multifactorial pathophysiological nature of FD and IBS, the authors considered the advantages and prospects of using combined herbal remedies, providing synergy of active components. Comparative pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic studies of the influence of the components of Iberogast on GIT showed a rapid onset of therapeutic effect.
