Abstract

We present an article by the French historian, chairman of the scientific council of the annual publication «Steam Hammer» dedicated to the history of science and technology, F. Duffaut, who acquaints our readers with the activities of this yearbook, authoritative in France. The characteristics of the region where he works, his publications, the events that our French colleagues hold are given. Acquaintance with the French experience will undoubtedly be useful for all those interested in the history of science and technology.
