Abstract
Project of creation of energy-technology complex for environment-friendly wasteless conversion of inexpensive 3Bgrade
brown coal of Kansk-Achinsk coal basins Balakhta coal deposit into mid-temperature coke with generation of
heat and electricity is proposed. Creation of the complex will provide increase of rate of return from 1 ton of brown coal,
stimulate economic growth of the region and strengthen competitive positions of domestic ferrous metallurgy in local
and international markets via decrease of operation costs
