Author Guidelines

Files with the article are accepted by e-mail vestnik@sibsau.ru.

Digital copy. The article is typed in Microsoft Office Word 2003 (doc file name extension)!

The length of the article 5–20 pages (including figures, tables and references), a short message - 4–5 pages, review article - up to 20 pages.

Page settings.. A4 format (210 × 297). Fields: right and left - 2 cm, upper and lower - 2.5 cm.

Text. Font Times New Roman 12. Subtitles: Font Times New Roman 12 bold.

Line spacing – single, letter spacing and word spacing - normal, word wrap is not allowed.

Paragraph indent is 0.5 cm.

It is not allowed (!) to type texts in capital letters and bold type (except for the name), and also to place all the indicated elements within the framework and imitate the design of the set executed in the journal.

The article should contain the subject, topic, purpose of the work; method or methodology of the work; work results; scope of results; findings.

Pages are not numbered.

 

Manuscript structure

  1. UDC identifierprecedes the title of the article, corresponds to the stated topic and is affixed in the upper left corner of the sheet.
  2. The title of the article:no more than 15 words. Abbreviations and clipping in the title are not allowed.
  3. Authors.Initials and surname. The number of authors of one article is not more than five. The author has the right to publish in the issue once, the second in co-authorship.
  4. The author's affiliation in the publication: the name and address of the organization, as well as e-mail the author-correspondent. If there are several authors, each surname and the corresponding organization have a digital superscript. If all authors of the article work in the same organization, it is indicated once;
  5. Abstract: at least 230–250 words. Abstract structure: the purpose of the study, methods, results, conclusion. Italic
  6. Keywords: no more than 5–7 words or phrases. Italic
  7. The main text is constructed according to the following scheme and contains mandatory subheadings:
    • Introduction
    • Thematic subheadings for the main part of the text
    • Conclusion.
  8. Acknowledgments (if there is an indication of sources of funding, grants).
  9. References. References should contain at least 15 sources! Please, use NLM format for references preparation. References to sources are placed in the text in square brackets in the order of numbering as they are cited.
  10. Information about the authors. For example:
    • Senashov Sergei Ivanovich – Dr. Sc, Professor, Head of the Department of IES; Siberian State University of Science and Technology. E-mail: sen@sibsau.ru.

Preparation of tables and figures

Figures

Figures should be numbered consecutively, have a name and a link to the figure in the text (fig. 1, fig. 2, etc.).

Formulas

Formulas in the text are typed in the Math Type formula editor. The typeface and font sizes must match the main body of the text, i.e. the main text font is Times New Roman 11 and the main size of formulas is 11.

  • character sizes are determined by the standard settings Math Type (Size - Define - Factory);
  • Russian and Greek characters - in plain text;

Latin designations, except for stable forms, names like: max, min, cos, sin, tg, log, exp, det, etc., are typed in italics.

Formulas typed in separate lines, placed in the center. It is not allowed (!) to type in the main text of the article simple Latin, Greek, or special characters in the formula editor.

Tables

Tables should be sequentially numbered and denoted by the text as table. 1, tab. 2, etc. The word “table” is typed in light italics with alignment to the right, in font 11, below — the title of the table (in bold in the center).

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with each of the following items, and submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the authors.

  • Absence of plagiarism. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  • Correct manuscript format. Manuscript file format is Microsoft Word (has the extension *.doc, *.docx, *.rtf). The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in "For Authors" section.

  • Cover letter. All the required supporting documents will be submitted together with the manuscript. Authors guarantee to upload scanned original of the filled cover letter in PDF. A cover letter signed by all authors.

  • Supplementary files. The authors have prepared for transfer to the editor within the manuscript submission process:

    • Graphic files (photos, satellite images, graphics, etc.) - all in separate jpg or tiff-files.
    • Data (raw-data, statistic analyzis and so on) and/or media-files.
  • The authors confirm that:

    • all participants who have made a significant contribution to the study are presented as co-Authors;
    • those who did not participate in the study are not listed as co-Authors;
    • all co-Authors have seen and approved the final version of the work and agreed to submit it for publication.
 

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal non-exclusive license to first publication under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to distribute this materials with the obligatory retention of references to the authors of the original work and the original publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to distribute the manuscript and/or the article in accordance with Self-Archiving policy of the journal (see details). Authors have the right to post their paper on the Internet (for example, in the institute's data storage or personal site) before and during the review process, as this may lead to a productive discussion and more references to this work (See The Effect of Open Access).
  3. The manuscript can be accepted for publication only by decision of the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial board of the journal in accordance with the Manuscript stelection policy of the journal (see details).

A non-exclusive license for publication granted by authors allows the publisher to use the article in the following ways:

  • Reproduction of the Article or its sections or parts, as well as the metadata of the Article in any languages, in any material form, including on paper and electronic media, as a separate work in the journal and/or databases (local or in the Internet) of the publisher and/or other persons, at the discretion of the publisher;
  • Distribution of the Article or its sections or parts, as well as the metadata of the Article in any languages, on any medium as part of the journal and/or databases of the publisher or other persons, at the discretion of the publisher, or as an independent work around the world whether on Open-Access terms or for a fee without remuneration to the Author;
  • Making the Article or any of its sections or parts, as well as the Article’s metadata in any languages, publicly available in such a way that any person can access the Article from any place, including via the Internet, and at any time of their own choosing;
  • Granting permission/s for the use of the Article or its sections or parts, as well as its metadata in any languages, to third parties with notice to the Author made by posting relevant information on the journal’s website, without paying remuneration to the Author;
  • Processing the Article (i.e., editing, correcting, annotating, tagging, translating to any languages, typesetting) and using the revised (translated) Article in the aforementioned ways.

Other rights not directly transferred to the publisher under this License Agreement, including patent rights to any process, method etc., described by the Authors in the manuscript, as well as trademark rights, are reserved for the Authors.

All the Copyright statements for authors are present in the standart Publishing Agreement (Public Offer) to Publish an Article in an Academic Periodical 'Siberian Aerospace Journal'.

LICENSE AGREEMENT No. on granting the right to use the Work

Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Siberian State University of Science and Technology named after Academician M.F. Reshetnev” (SibGU named after M.F. Reshetnev), hereinafter referred to as the “Licensee”, represented by the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Siberian Journal of Science and Technology media, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities Yury Yuryevich Loginov, acting on the basis of a power of attorney –– –––––––––––, on the one hand, and ----------------------, hereinafter referred to as the “Licensor(s)”, on the other hand, also hereinafter referred to as the “Party/Parties”, have entered into this agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) as follows.

1. THE SUBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT

1.1. The Licensor grants the Licensee non-exclusive rights to use the Work created by him, expressed in the form of the article "_____________________________________________", within the limits established by this Agreement, and the Licensee undertakes to accept the appropriate right and use it within the limits established by this Agreement.

1.2. The work was created by the creative work of the Licensor and is subject to copyright in accordance with the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.

2. GENERAL PROVISIONS

2.1. The Licensor guarantees that it is the proper owner of the Work specified in this Agreement.

2.2. The Licensor provides the Licensee with the Work in electronic and printed (on paper) form within 10 days from the date of conclusion of this agreement.

2.3. The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive right to provide copies of the Work for temporary free use to third parties.

2.4. The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive rights:

  • to reproduction of the Work in whole or in part (publication, publication, duplication, replication or other reproduction of the Work, recording of the work on electronic media, including recording in computer memory) without limiting the circulation of copies or the number of reproductions. Moreover, each copy of the Work must contain the name of the author of the Work;
  • to distribute the Work in whole or in part by any means;
  • to rework the Work (create on its basis a new, creatively independent work) in whole or in part and the right to make changes to the Work that do not constitute its processing;
  • to translate the Work in whole or in part, including into any form by any means, electronic or mechanical, using any systems for storing and issuing information;
  • to publicly use the Work in whole or in part and demonstrate it for informational, advertising and other purposes;
  • to bring the Work in whole or in part to the public;
  • to use the electronic version of the published material and place it in databases;
  • to include works and their components in various databases and further distribution of databases with included works by any means;
  • to extract the metadata of works and their further use;
  • to use the electronic version of the work (posting on the Internet, distribution, alienation, creation of electronic copies, extraction of metadata).
  • to include the Work in whole or in part in the fund of the Digital Library Scientific Library of the Siberian State University. M.F. Reshetnev and to the fund of electronic resources of the Siberian State University. M.F. Reshetnev;
  • to attribution the Work to the distributed electronic resources of the Scientific Library of the Siberian State University without inclusion in the fund of the Scientific Library of the Siberian State University. M.F. Reshetnev;
  • to use the Work as a source material for fulfilling applications within the framework of interlibrary loan (ILO), document delivery (DD) and electronic document delivery (EDD) activities;
  • to use of the Work in the organization of the educational process.

3. AMOUNT OF REMUNERATION

3.1. The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive right to use the Work without paying royalties and royalties (free of charge).

4. TERM AND TERRITORY OF THE CONTRACT

4.1. The Licensor transfers to the Licensee non-exclusive rights for the entire duration of the copyright in the Work without restriction on the territory of use.

4.2. This Agreement shall enter into force upon signing by both parties.

4.3. This Agreement may be terminated ahead of schedule at the initiative of one of the parties with the obligatory warning of the other party at least 2 months in advance or in case of default by one of the parties of obligations under the Agreement.

4.4. The bibliographic record* for the Work, created by the Licensee, is the intellectual property of the Licensee and is used at the discretion of the Licensee without restrictions.

 

Privacy Statement

The editorial Board of the journal and the administration of the website of the journal do not transfer personal information to third parties, except for those cases and to the extent specified in the terms of the copyright agreement.

The affiliation work and e-mail address of the authors of the manuscript accepted for publication will be published in the section "information about the authors" of the printed version of the journal and in the section "about the authors" on the page of the article on the website of the journal.

The phone number of the corresponding author will be accessible only to the Editorial Board Secretariat and will only be used in cases of emergency.
