Abstract

The article offers contemporary data concerning the role of infection in pathogenesis of the most common human endocrine diseases. The problem of affinity of different bacteria and viruses to endocrine organs as the pancreatic islets, thyroid gland, adrenals and testicles was analyzed. The main pathogenic mechanisms of endocrine disorders and functional details of separate endocrine glands lesion in infectious diseases were shown. The article represents the basic information about peculiarities of endocrine disorders in HIV-infection and chronic viral hepatitis type C.
