Abstract
A review of literature covering the Molecular and biological basis of humoral regulation disturbances in type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. The role of genetic factors, cellular and humoral immunopathologic mechanisms of pancreatic cells damage, state of other parts of endocrine system, neuroendocrine changes and metabolic disturbances are discussed.
