Abstract
The pathogenetic mechanisms of microangiopathy in diabetes mellitus from the metabolic enzymatic and hemodynamic point of view are considered in the article. The special attention is payed to NO, prostacycline, bradykinin and vasoconstrictors (endothelin-1, angiotensin-1 etc.) involvement in these processes as well as both the system of peroxic oxidation of lipids and antioxidative defence system. The typical clinical phenomena of diabetes mellitus (diabetic rethinopathy, diabetic nephropathy and diabetic foot syndrome) are examined too.
