Abstract
The review presents the literature data concerning successful using of primary and continuous cell cultures (instead of embryonated eggs) as substrates for production of inactivated and live influenza vaccines. The possibilities of wide-scale production of influenza vaccines on the basis of certificated continuous mammalian cell lines - Vero, PEP.C6 and MDCK are analyzed.
