Abstract

It is present results of clinical study of the levels of insulin, C-peptide, testosterone, luteinizing and follicle stimulating hormones, thyroxine and thyroid-stimulating hormone in blood plasma and of levels of insulin in erythrocytes before and after submaximal exercise. In patients withcoronary heart diseaseand metabolic syndromeare more frequentepisodesof painless myocardial ischemia, myocardial infarction, andmore severedegreesof heart failure, compared with patients withischemic heart diseasewithout themetabolic syndrome.Justfound highlevelsof insulin in theblood plasma andred blood cells, which areunder the influenceof physical activitycontinued to increase, and decreasedtestosterone levels.
