详细

The importance of studying the influence of professional environment factors on the retention of nurses in the profession is due to the increasing shortage of medical personnel in the healthcare system of the Russian Federation. The results of the study confirm the decrease in the provision of palliative care organizations with nurses. Nurses working with palliative patients in inpatient settings predominantly have less than 5 years of experience in palliative care, despite greater overall professional experience in the health care system. Assessment of nursing staff satisfaction with various parameters of the professional environment revealed dissatisfaction with salaries, organization of meals and rest breaks for employees. An overload has been identified in the professional activities of nurses in the palliative care system, which may contribute to staff turnover, a decrease in the quality of palliative care and requires further study.
