Abstract

The neurophysiological prerequisites for suicidal behavior are considered. Possibilities of instrumental (objective) diagnostics of the risk of suicidal behavior by recording indicators of electrodermal activity are discussed. Comparative data of various methods for assessing the dynamic parameters of electrodermal activity in depressed patients with a history of suicide attempt, without it, and healthy subjects are presented. The conclusion is made about the possibility of practical use of the assessment of the dynamics of indicators of electrodermal activity for diagnosing the risk of suicidal behavior.
