Abstract

Presented data on the invasive form of streptococcal infection - necrotic fasciitis. This dangerous disease is often complicated by myonecrosis and the development of toxic streptococcal shock. Its transient flow in the most severe cases ends in a fatal outcome. A clinical case of necrotizing fasciitis and streptococcal shock is described.
