The experience of successful treatment of severe viral-bacterial pneumonia in a military hospital

Abstract

In the development of severe pneumonia are important premorbid patient’s condition, peculiarities of disease causative agent, conditions of the development of the disease, timeliness and correctness of the diagnosis and adequate treatment. In conscripts up to 85% of pneumonia ceases develop within 6 months after arriving to the training centre, during the period of adaptation to new conditions on the background of psychological and physical stress and activation of mechanism of transmission of infection. High frequency (22,5%) of severe courses of pneumonia, which often causes the development of severe complications, is of particular importance.
