Abstract
The article discusses the evidence that indicates the high professional and moral characteristics of graduates of the Military Medical Academy named after S.M.Kirov, who participated in the Great Patriotic War and the continuity of these qualities among civilian doctors of subsequent generations. The facts stated are documented by archives, publications, photographs, and personal memories of the author.
