Gathering of chief traumatologists of military districts and fleets

A brief report on the gathering of chief traumatologists of the military districts and fleets of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, held in February 2021 in St. Petersburg, is presented. The purpose of the event was to discuss problematic issues of organizing and providing specialized, including high - tech medical care in the field of «traumatology and orthopedics», optimization of the organizational structure, medical supply, routing of patients with injuries, diseases of the musculoskeletal system and their consequences in the territorial system of medical support for the military district (fleet), as well as the development of a complex of organizational and therapeutic and diagnostic measures aimed at improving the provision of traumatological and orthopedic assistance to military personnel.
