Аннотация
Джон Барбор (ок. 1320–1395) по праву признан основоположником литературы на шотландском языке (Scots). Его монументальная поэма «Брюс» – и стихотворный роман, и биография короля Скоттов Роберта I, и историческая хроника, ставшая национальным эпосом Шотландии. Ниже предлагается продолжение первого полного перевода этого выдающегося памятника на русский язык, с сопроводительной статьей и комментариями.
