The anthology prepared by Boris Kaganovich, which unfortunately was published only after his untimely death, includes selected articles, records of Tarle’s speeches, his recollections and reminiscences about him. These little-known texts, or those published for the first time, describe the multifaceted talents and hobbies of the famous historian, convey his thoughts and actions and invite reflection on their logic, prompted by conflicts in the difficult times in which he lived.
