Abstract

The paper considers the pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis, and treatments of portal biliopathy, a complication that is mainly detected in patients with extrahepatic portal vein obstruction and accompanied by structural abnormalities of the biliary tract and varicose changes of the choledochus.
