EVALUATION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF COMBINED PHARMACOTHERAPY

Abstract

The efficiency of combined pharmacotherapies was evaluated in rheumatic patients, by comparing the quantitative parameters of prediction of expected and potential drug interactions. The specific risk factors of potential drug interactions were assessed from the number of drugs that affected common pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetic targets. The quantitative parameters of the nonspecific risk factors characterizing the total number of concurrently used drugs, their doses, and therapeutic range were obtained.
