Autonomous power-supply source on diesel-generator base
Abstract
It is proposed to use diesel-generator as autonomous power-supply sources (APS) at the expense of complete utilization of exhaust gases (EG) heat and heat extraction from heat engine cooling jacket. Functional diagram of APS with complete heat utilization, as well as results of comparable tests of APS operation in common and impulse modes are given.

On constructional deterioration of working organs of soil-cultivating cutters
Abstract
The hypothesis is put forward that for working organs of rotary cultivators the kinematic construction perfection by means of optimization of an angle of installation of a knife on the tiller rotor in a combination with continuously variable regulating of the kinematic parameter can be considered as an effective way of their service life extension. The regulating have to proceed from predicted deterioration of a back part of a knife in running-in time interval.

Tin foil fatigue sensor
Abstract
Results of experimental researches concerning tin foil application as fatigue sensors for detection of small amplitudes of cyclic voltage of parts are presented. Control was carried out on appearance of dislocations traces on a sensor surface, and also by means of whirling currents. High sensitivity of tin foil fatigue sensing is shown.

A priori ranking in diesel parts renewal with the use of ultrasonic electroplating nanotechnology
Abstract
A priory ranking method for quantitative estimation of the contribution of specified subsystems in achievement of the purpose of system (a tree of objectives and a tree of systems) is considered. Presence of essential similarity of expert opinions, the significance of concordance factor and definiteness of expert opinion coincidence is determined. The structural contribution of each of subsystems to achievement of the general objective is estimated.
