- Изложить подпункт "б" пункта 8 устава РАН в следующей редакции:
"б) согласование кандидатов, выдвинутых на должность президента академии".
- Изложить подпункт "к" пункта 14 устава РАН в следующей редакции:
"к) учреждает почётные звания и присваивает их российским и иностранным учёным, выдающимся деятелям мировой культуры, государственным и общественным деятелям".
