EFFECT OF ANTIHISTAMINES OF GENERATION IION COGNITIVE FUNCTION OF PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC URTICARIA

Abstract

In order to determine the effect of antihistamines of II generation on the cognitive function of patients with chronic urticaria, 88 patients of mild and moderate severity of CU were examined. Patients took a basic therapy of histamine receptor blockers of II generation. The effectiveness of therapy was assessed by the dynamics of the main clinical symptoms and cognitive changes with the test to assess attention (Krepelin-Shulte) and a test to assess the activity of thinking by I.M. Luschihina. We observed decrease of cognitive function in patients, who took cetirisin and levocetirisine.
