Abstract

Briefly outlining the history of the doctrine of the origin, essence and treatment of morb. Basedowi, the author, on the basis of literary data and his own experience, comes to the conclusion that the essence of the disease lies in the hypersecretion of the gland (hyperthyroidization) and its treatment should be reduced to neutralizing the excess secretion.

Изложивъ вкратцѣ исторію ученія о происхожденіи, сущности и леченіи morb. Basedowi, авторъ на основаніи литературныхъ данныхъ и собственнаго опыта приходитъ къ выводу, что сущность болѣзни заключается въ гиперсекреціи железы (гипертиреоидизаціи) и леченіе ея должно сводиться къ нейтрализаціи избытка секрета. На этомъ основана серотерапія Базедовой болѣзни. Здѣсь рекомендуется Antithyreoidin (сыворотка тиреоидектонированныхъ барановъ) и молоко козъ, у которыхъ предварительно вырѣзана железа. Послѣдній методъ леченія употребляется авторомъ, который очень доволенъ имъ.
