ASSESSMENT OF THE DYNAMICS OF THE FUNCTIONAL STATE OF POST-STROKE PATIENTS WITH SPASTIC HEMIPARESIS IN THE COURSE OF REHABILITATION INTERVENTIONS

Mikhailov V.A., Zakharov D.V., Dyagileva J.I.

Abstract

The article describes the assessment of the dynamics of the functional state of post-stroke 62 patients with spastic hemiparesis in the course of rehabilitational interventions (Group 1) and a combination of rehabilitational interventions and botulinum therapy (Group 2). A positive dynamics of the functional state was revealed in both patient groups. However, a reduction in the level of spasticity and an amelioration of the functioning of paretic extremities were more significant in the patient group treated with botulotoxinum type A.

Petrova N.N., Sysoeva V.S., Vasichkina E.S., Egorov D.F., Gordeev O.L.

Abstract

The quality of life (QOL) of patients with cardiostimulators (CS) implanted in childhood has been studied from the standpoint of subjective satisfaction with the level of physical, mental and social functioning. QOL of patients with CS and of those who are undergoing conservative therapy is mediated by interaction of a number of socio-demographic, clinical, and personal and psychological factors. A significant contribution to the reduction of QOL of patients in both groups is introduced by the factor of mental and emotional condition that causes the relevance of psychological treatment.

PERSONAL AND GENDER PREREQUISITES OF DEPRESSIVE DISORDERS WITH SOMATIC SYMPTOMS IN ADOLESCENCE

Chebotarov E.V.

Abstract

We examined 72 adolescent patients with a diagnosis of depressive disorder with somatic symptoms. Pathocharacterological and gender preconditions of somatization of depression in adolescence were defined. Female adolescents are characterized by the following personal prerequisites: significant hypochondriac attitude regarding their own health in premorbid stage of disease on the background of sharpened cycloid and labile features with demonstrative traits. For adolescent males, the predominance of social introversion with psychasthenic and anxious traits with tendencies toward social isolation and psychopathization was more specific.

STUDY OF POSSIBLE RISK FACTORS FOR ANXIETY AND DEPRESSIVE DISORDERS IN PATIENTS WITH PARKINSON’S DISEASE IN THE REPUBLIC OF BASHKORTOSTAN

Akhmadeeva G.N., Tayupova G.N., Bajtimerov A.R., Magzhanov R.V., Hidijatova I.M., Husnutdinova J.K.

Abstract

The features of anxiety and depressive disorders in patients with Parkinson’s disease in Republic of Bashkortostan according to sex, clinical form, age of onset, daily activities and the degree of movement disorders have been studied. It is found that anxiety and depressive disorders are prevalent in female patients. It is shown that the possible risk factors for anxiety and depressive disorders, in addition to a female, are low levels of daily activity and a high degree of motor impairment. Anxiety is significantly more often detected in patients with akinetic-rigid and rigid-trembling forms, and depression - in patients with akinetic-rigid-trembling form. Dependence on the age of manifestation was found only in men.

Muslimova E.V., Yakupova S.P., Yakupov E.Z., Sakovets T.G.

Abstract

The aim of this study was the evaluation of the neuropathic component influence on the pain intensity, formation of anxiety, depression and pain catastrophization in patients with RA. It was found that the presence of neuropathic pain in RA was associated with higher indexes of depression, anxiety, pain catastrophization level. Furthermore, neuropathic pain in RA led to more frequent occurrence of personal anxiety in more severe form and increased the pain catastrophization level. It turned out to be the aggravating influence of neuropathic pain on the level of psychological comfort and the formation of maladaptive pain settings in RA patients.

PAIN AT OSTEOARTHRITIS: SYMPTOM OR DISEASE

Protopopov M.S., Giniatullin R.A., Lapshina S.A., Abdulganieva D.I.

Abstract

The article reviews the main aspects of pain in osteoarthritis (OA). Nociceptive pain is discussed as the main component of pain syndrome. The current evidence for the inflammation activation in OA is described; its role in the pathogenesis of the pain syndrome is discussed. The role of pro-inflammatory cytokines as well as prostanoids and prostaglandin E in developing inflammation and pain in OA is reviewed. The central sensitization and neuropathic pain are estimated as the components of the pain syndrome in OA. The role of a number of channel proteins and enzymes-coding genes polymorphisms in pain development and intensity in patients with OA is described. Perspectives for targeted pain-relieving treatments in patients with OA are discussed considering the pain pathogenesis.

Akhmetzyanova A.I.

Abstract

The urgency of this problem is due to the uniqueness of infancy; early age is recognized as one of the most significant in terms of the formation of a number of mental functions of the child. System of early intervention provides the widest possible coverage of children with developmental disorders in the early stages of ontogenesis that promotes the prevention of secondary disorders in development, as well as the most effective use of sensitive periods of formation of higher mental functions for their recovery and development. As part of this work, the history of formation and development of the early intervention system will be considered abroad and in Russia.

GLYCINE IMPORTANCE IN ACUTE ISCHEMIC STROKE THERAPY

Nartsissov Y.R., Sheshegova E.V., Mashkovtseva E.V., Maksimova L.N.

Abstract

There was shown the prevalence of vascular diseases, including acute cerebrovascular events, reasons of such disorders being multiple systemic changes of neuron metabolism. The correction of imbalance of excitatory and inhibitory neurotransmitter systems is one of the most promising methods of neuroprotection. Much attention is paid to the role of an inhibitory neurotransmitter glycine in the mechanisms of acute cerebral ischemia. Positive effects of glycine on neuronal mitochondrial metabolism have been observed under hypoxic (anoxic) conditions. It was also shown a reduction of events which had been induced by glutamate concentration excess. Along with the effect of direct vasodilation of glycine on arterioles of different tissues it enables to consider glycine as a neuroprotective compound i.e. the medicines which protect against ischemic cascade in therapeutic window.
