Single kidney cancer is one of the most difficult diseases in choice of the optional treatment tactics. Removing the only functioning of vital organ with subsequent renal replacement therapy leads to life-threatening complications and determines the outcome. The priority is the development of measures for the early detection of cancer and nephron-sparing surgery from minimally invasive endoscopic surgeries to extracorporeal kidney tumor resection with kidney autotransplantation.

Outcomes of accessory preventive medical check-ups in the context of Health priority national project in Volgograd were examined, problems were discussed, a package of problem-solving measures was worked out.

The paper discusses the advantages of coronary artery bypass graft in patients with ischemic heart disease with hemodynamically significant coronary artery lesion from the point of view of clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness per year of life considering the standard of living. When choosing the tactics of management for a patient with ischemic heart disease one should consider the results of clinico-economic analysis. Our study shows that patients undergoing coronary bypass surgery yielded the best clinical results in early postoperative period and the least cost of surgery and of medicamentous therapy over three years of follow-up.

The article analyses the condition of hemodynamics, vascular endothelium in atopic dermatitis in 147 children. We revealed the nature of hemodynamic changes at various degrees of severity of atopic dermatitis upon administration of transcranial electrical stimulation (TES). Administration of TES produces restoration of blood supply to tissues, increases the effectiveness of therapy. For the first time an analysis of endothelial dysfunction is carried out.

A simple parallel group randomized investigation was performed. According to the MOS SF-36 data both ivabradine (13,75 mg/day) and verapamile SR (330 mg/day) have improved quality of life (QL) of postMI silent ischemic patients with stable angina (class I-II) and concomitant controlled/partly controlled bronchial asthma or moderate/severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Ivabradine vs verapamile SR more significantly improved physical functioning, problems with work resulting from physical health, general health assessment, social functioning and mental health. Finally ivabradine more significantly increased Physical Component Summary (PCS). According to the SAQ data both drugs have demonstrated the same improvement of CHD-specific QL.

Practicing doctors as a whole are satisfied with the system of postgraduate training though they believe there is room for improvement. Domestic physicians are poorly informed about western system of medical education though 16 % consider it necessary to send Russian students abroad, and 7 % would like to go there for professional advancement.

Results of comparative clinical and biopharmaceutical research of original and generic «cetirizine» used for treatment of chronic urticaria in adults are proposed. The study revealed the advantage of the original drug «cetirizine», which allows it to be recommended for more effective treatment of severe and moderate forms of chronic urticaria. Generic drugs «Parlazin» and «Cetrin» showed a higher efficiency than «Cetirizine-Hexal» and «Zodac». Results of clinical studies correlate with the results of pharmaceutical analysis.

The article presents results of pharmacoepidemiology researches of bronchial asthma pharmacotherapy in an outpatient department. The medications consumption analysis between doctors of various specialities in out-patient departments revealed some differences in the quality, quantity and intensity of antiasthmatic medications administration in the treatment of patients with bronchial asthma

Symptomatic treatment of multiple sclerosis is still an important problem. Headaches and psychovegetative disturbances are highly prevalent in patients with multiple sclerosis. The paper presents results of treatment of cephalalgias and psychovegetative disturbances with combination of antidepressant valdoxan and transcranial electrostimulation of cerebral endorphine generating structures.

The study has been carried out on the comparative analysis of thyroid system indicators in 139 patients with functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGD), 20 patients with gastric ulcer (GU), 20 patients with nonspecific ulcerative colitis (NUC) and 45 healthy subjects (HS). The GDG group displayed a high frequency of sick euthyroid syndrome (SES) which is characterized by changes in the thyroid hormones concentration. The indicators of thyroid (T) pseudodysfunction in patients with functional dyspepsia (FD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) were combined with more serious progress notes.

The paper discusses the criteria for diagnostics of intraabdominal hypertension syndrome and abdominal compartment syndrome. The level and dynamics of the indices of abdominal visceral perfusion pressure can serve as a reliably accurate criterion for these conditions. Abdominal visceral perfusion pressure provides an accurate characteristic of the severity of the patient's condition, of the extent of perfusion of organs and tissues in case of systemic hemodynamic disorders and at stable values of intraabdominal pressure

The increased role of opportunistic microorganisms in the origin of acute intestinal infections was discussed by many authors over recent years. The fact itself of isolating an opportunistic pathogen does not always indicate its implication in particular disease. Opportunistic flora is part of intestinal microflora of healthy people as transient representatives. In this connection one should consider both the number of opportunistic bacteria and the factors promoting their persistence, when one determines etiologic importance of opportunistic bacteria.

The object of the study was investigation of the effect of electromagnetic radiation of terahertz range at the frequencies of molecular spectrum of nitric oxide (THz-therapy-NO) on the microcirculation in the bone tissue and marrow. Marked changes in micro vessels of bone tissues in the rats subjected to acute and chronic immobilization stress were estimated. It was shown that the simultaneous effect of theragerz waves and stressor agent prevents and restores bone microcirculation disorders. Usage of THz-therapy-NO can be recommended in complex rehabilitation of traumatic and orthopedic patients

The study showed that treatment by transcranial electrical stimulation of the brain (TES therapy) in adolescents with hypertensive first-degree leads to a normalization of autonomic influences on the vascular link hemodynamics, optimization of hemodynamic parameters , improving the wellbeing of patients without the risk of side effects. Non-pharmacological therapy by transcranial electrical stimulation of the brain is more effective and adequate than traditional electrotherapeutic sleep. By affecting hemodynamics transcranial electrical stimulation of the brain has a normalizing effect and can be recommended as a method of antihypertensive therapy in adolescents.
