Chushkov Y.V., Chushkov Y.V.

Abstract

At present, iron-states are a national problem of health care systems in different countries, most often occurring among pregnant women and in early childhood. Iron supplements play leading role in the treatment of this disease, and for decades of practical application they have undergone a number of changes. Research efforts are aimed to increasing their therapeutic efficacy and reduction of number and severity of side effects. The most modern group of antianemic drugs are non-ionic iron preparations, which represented by Maltofer. The article discusses the advantages of Maltofer over others iron supplements, namely, high efficiency, rapid achievement of the effect, safety, ability to intake with food items, the presence of various forms of release. These features allow to recommend Maltofer as the primary therapy of iron deficiency anemia in a broad range of patients, including pregnant women, and its effective use in anemia of various severity.

Chushkov Y.V., Chushkov Y.V.

Abstract

The article presents the definition, classification and basic manifestations of dysmenorrhea, describes current approaches to its treatment, and discusses in detail the use of nonsteroidal anti- inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), particularly combination medications, in dysmenorrhea. The advantages of the treatment of dysmenorrhea with Novigan (ibuprofen + pitofenone hydrochloride + fenpiverinium bromide) over others NSAIDs are demonstrated: a rapid therapeutic effect even against the background of dose decline (2-3 tablets per day), absence of gastrointestinal side effects. Application of Novigan containing NSAID ibuprofen, myotropic spasmolytic and cholinoblockator allows to rapid pain relief, maintains performance of patients and reduces the cost of their treatment. In this regard, Novigan is drug of choice in the treatment of dysmenorrhea compared with others NSAIDs.

ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION IN PATIENTS AFTER BRACHYTHERAPY FOR LOCALIZED PROSTATE CANCER: LITERATURE REVIEW

Gamidov S.o., Chepurov A.K., Perov R.A., Guseynov M.M., Gamidov S.I., Chepurov A.K., Perov R.A., Guseinov M.M.

Abstract

Increasing the number of relatively young men who underwent brachytherapy for localized prostate cancer led to increase the urgency of the issue of quality of life of these patients. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is one of the major factors adversely affecting the quality of life. The high prevalence of erectile dysfunction in patients after brachytherapy, and lack of common approach to effective and safe therapy require more enhanced study of this problem, which is very relevant and important for understanding the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of ED in men after brachytherapy for localized prostate cancer.

PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF IRON DEFICIENCY STATES DURING PREGNANCY: THE USE OF COMBINATION OF IRON AND FOLIC ACID

Baev O.R., Bayev O.R.

Abstract

The article considers the problem of iron and folic acid deficiency during pregnancy. The results of the study, including 86 women with 14-18 weeks pregnancy are presented. Of these, 32 pregnant women experienced with iron deficiency anemia (IDA) and 54 women were at risk of iron-FA-deficiency during pregnancy. Patients with IDA and at-risk women with low serum ferritin (SF) have received a combined iron-FA-containing preparation Ferretab Comp. Women in this group with normal SF did not receive the drug. The frequency of latent iron deficiency in group at risk of IDA was 35.2%. Even with initially normal level of SF, at-risk women experienced iron deficiency in 48.6% of cases in III trimester of pregnancy, including IDA in 28.6%. Ferretab Comp was effective for prevention and treatment of IDA. It is emphasized that the restoration of iron pool is behind normalization of hemoglobin levels, and it must be considered when determining the dose and duration of treatment. The combination of iron and FA allows to prevent anemia and complications of pregnancy associated with lack of folate. The combined iron-FA drugs should be administered for all women at risk of IDA starting with II trimester of pregnancy.

HORMONAL CONTRACEPTION IN REHABILITATION PROGRAM AFTER NON-DEVELOPING PREGNANCY

Dikke G.B., Dicke G.B.

Abstract

Restoration and preservation of women's reproductive health after non-developing pregnancy depend largely on the adequacy of rehabilitation. The timely and correct application of modern hormonal contraceptives, including low-dose combined oral contraceptives (COCs) containing desogestrel (regulon, etc.) is an important component of rehabilitation. The use of COCs from the date of removal of dead ovum not only has a therapeutic effect, but also solves the problem of prevention of unwanted pregnancies on the background of the stress.

Chushkov Y.V., Chushkov Y.V.

Abstract

At present, searching for non-toxic and easy to use local preparations, which can neutralize the vaginal discomfort and imbalance of vaginal flora, is relevant. In this regard, natural antimicrobial agents, such as extracts of herbs containing essential oils, draw attention. The author conducted research aimed to evaluation of efficacy and tolerability Gynocomfort gel with extract of mallow and Gynocomfort gel with essential oils of Tea Tree. The study group included 128 women aged 18 to 65 years. The results of the use of Gynocomfort gel were compared with traditionally used approaches to the management of relevant patient groups. The study allowed to draw conclusions about the well tolerability of by most (93.8%) patients, high efficacy of gel in the complex therapy; good moisturizing properties of gels and the absence of allergic reactions are proved.

POTENTIALS FOR REGULATION OF VAGINAL MICROFLORA

Fofanova I.Y., Fofanova I.Y.

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the issues relating to the maintenance of normal vaginal biocenosis in terms of prevention of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the genital tract. It is emphasized that the normal vaginal microflora (lactoflora) provides resistance to genital tract colonization - a set of mechanisms that prevent the population of vaginal pathogens or excessive proliferation of opportunistic bacteria, including in the form of biofilms. The possibilities for correction of vaginal microbiocenosis using a preparation containing ascorbic acid are discussed.

The article presents the results of study aimed to evaluation of mifepristone effectiveness for preparation of uterine cervix for childbirth and labor induction, with assessment of characteristics of act of delivery, the frequency of cesarean section and perinatal outcomes. The effectiveness of mifepristone in cervical ripening was 83%, and the majority of women had vaginal delivery. Childbirth was characterized by reduction of labor abnormalities and shorter duration of labor in multiparous women. In addition, it was shown that mifepristone may be successfully used in outpatient settings.
