Аннотация
Приводится описание патогенеза хронического кашля (ХК) у женщин. Показаны гендерные и возрастные различия в распространенности ХК и чувствительности рецепторов кашлевого рефлекса. Сформулированы роль половых женских гормонов и их влияние на рецепторы кашлевого рефлекса в патогенезе ХК. На основе полученных данных сформулирована патогенетическая концепция ХК как самостоятельного заболевания. С учетом сложностей применения противокашлевых препаратов с их ограниченной направленностью либо на центральные механизмы, либо на периферические рецепторы рассматривается такой препарат, как Ренгалин, сочетающий противокашлевое, противовоспалительное и бронхолитическое действия с возможностью применения для эффективной терапии любого вида кашля при острых и хронических инфекционно-воспалительных и аллергических заболеваниях.
