Abstract
Russia is currently living in a changing long-term scientific and technological policy, and the effectiveness of minimizing the negative impact of restrictions imposed on the Russian Federation will depend on the decisions made in the future. The article provides a brief overview of the main directions of international scientific and technological cooperation. The purpose of the study was to determine a new vector of international scientific and technical cooperation of the Russian Federation. When developing a strategy for the scientific and technological development of the country for the long term, it is necessary to take into account the potential of partner states (both in the format of bilateral relations and within the framework of the EAEU, CIS, BRICS, and SCO). Contests held by the Russian Science Foundation together with foundations of other countries can be one of the tools for strengthening cooperation. The results of the study will be of interest to the scientific community, as well as to authorities at all levels.Acknowledgments:The study was carried out within the framework of the state task of the Institute of Economics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences for 2023.The research was carried out within the state assignment of Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
