Abstract

The article analyzes the positions of the world's leading economies from the point of view of global transformation in the current period of time. In order to understand the main opportunities for interaction between the Chinese and Russian economies, special attention is paid to comparing the positions of Russia and China. This comparison is based on such indicators as the share of the economies within the world economy, the share of manufacturing in the economy of each country, the share of high-tech equipment export, the share of RD investments, and the level of economic complexity. The article examines economic cooperation between Russia and China from the point of view of the entire trade turnover of the countries, as well as investment projects and the development of logistics infrastructure. Taking into account possible risks for the national economic security of the Russian Federation, further prospects for interaction between the Russian and Chinese economies are presented.
