Abstract

The literature review presents modern data on some types of colitis, occurring in the practice of therapists (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, ischemic colitis, pseudomembranous colitis, microscopic colitis), frequency and risk factors in different age groups according to the results of research in recent years, the main directions of outpatient treatment.
