Determination of hidden water leaks from the centralized water supply is a major concern for the various utilities. A large number of hidden leaks leads to greater fi nancial and physical costs of remediation and other works. This shows the need for an operational defi nition of hidden leaks, using not only special expensive equipment, but also relying on the available data is theoretically modeled and the fact of the leak.
A NEW DEVICE FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF SEDIMENT IN THE WASTEWATER NETWORK
Abstract
An analyses of data of determine sediment degree in wastewater collector has been introduced in the article. Described the diffi culty of process and measurement tolerance of the sediment at present time. A new practical equipment for measuring sediments and fi lling of wastewater in the sewage networks has been provided and developed. Equipment’s measurement tolerance is 1-2 mm. The equipment is portable and easy to use in practice. Also it can be made and fi x in the sewage workshops.
JUSTIFICATION OF DESIGN OF THE SELF-ROTATING AERATOR FOR GRAVITY NETWORK OF SEWERAGE

А new aerator’s model has been design for urban wastewater networks. Aerator sets in manhole and rotates by wastewater’s hydraulic pressure and friction force on the disc surface. As a result it is introduce a self-rotate system that follows by wastewater’s aeration.

OVERVIEW OF CHANGES IN MASS EXCHANGE CHARACTERISTICS OF BAKOR CERAMIC AERATORS OVER 12 MONTHS OF SERVICE
Abstract
This article presents the results of studying the mass exchange characteristics of Bakor aerators during the 12-month industrial application of this aerators in aeration systems designed for the treatment of waste waters originating from diff erent sources: cities, mines, and slaughterhouses of poultry processing plants. The study revelead a +/-(5-7)% change of the mass exchange characteristics over the course of a year. The article also gives recommendations on using the aerators in the design and application of waste water processing facilities.

Abstract
Composition and laws of reagent treatment of highconcentrated effl uent of turkey meat factory were researched. Experimental-industrial research was conducted to refi ne parameters obtained under laboratory conditions and modes of wastewater treatment that are the most eff ective in terms of their operating costs and quality of cleaning were tested.
THE ANALYSIS OF BIOLOGICAL WASTE WATER TREATMENT AT SYZRAN OIL REFINERY PLANT
Abstract
The analysis of biological waste water treatment at Syzran oil refinery plant was presented. The results of statistical research were shown, design value of feed water concentrations of major pollutants were defined. Kinetic constants of nitrification, organic matter and oil oxidation processes needed to treatment plant calculating are determined.
OPERATING (FUNCTIONAL) CHARACTERISTICS OF APARTMENT PRESSURE REGULATORS AND ENERGY SAVING
Abstract
The reasons of loss of water in apartment buildings due to excessive pressures (pressure) of water appliances. It is shown that the practical implementation of the regulatory requirements on the application of the apartment pressure regulators revealed its signifi cant systemic defect - worded compulsory hardware requirements are minimal, but not exhaustive, which eliminates the positive eff ect of its application. Defi nes the ways of improving the design of apartment pressure regulators and the mandatory requirements of the safety of buildings and structures.
