GENERAL STRUCTURE AND PRINCIPAL CONTENTS OF COMPOSITIONAL DESIGN METHOD

MALAKHOV S.A.

Abstract

This article puts forward and analyzes the concept of a new design metho, that joins together into one common process the experience of two independent disciplines - composition and design. The system of suggested «compositional design method» is seen at the same time as a finished theoretical model, and as a process of acquiring relevant professional skills, i.e. the method’s theory and its genesis in practical activity is the same phenomenon, that develops step by step from the level of corporal-sensuous modeling of shape - via invariant project codes - to conceptual expression and metaobject.

ORPHANED CHILDREN IN CONTEMPORARY RUSSIAN SOCIETY. WAYS TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM OF RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION

POTIENKO N.D.

Abstract

The problems of category of population at social risk - orphaned children and social orphans - are viewed. According to statistics, their number continues to grow, driven by a complex set of social, economic and psychological factors. Adoption is the most humane way to support these children, but it isn’t the only way, for a number of objective and subjective reasons. Specialist agencies are still required for the provision of social, psychological and medical assistance to certain categories of children. Existing institutions are obsolescent, and therefore an urgent review of their typological structure and functional planning is demanded.

XXI CENTURY. FEATURES OF FORMATION OF SPACE BORDERS IN ARCHITECTURE AND TOWN PLANNING

RADULOVA Y.I.

Abstract

The concept of spatial boundaries is presented as the joints of the two states of the space. The interaction of inside and outside space in contemporary architecture is presented. The features of the boundaries between inside and outside spaces and their possible applications in the architectural objects are considered. Interaction of inside and outside space in architecture can be traced in the works of Toyo Ito, Sou Fujimoto, Kotaro Ide, Jurgen Mayer, Shuhei Endo, Emilio Ambaz, Michael Sorkin, Massimiliano Fuksas, Peter Eisenman, Zaha Hadid. In contemporary architecture the problems of «symbiosis» of the inside and outside space are successfully solved by such world-renowned architectural companies as Tezuka, SeARC, R&Sie(n), Formwerkz, Sansiri, FOA, SHoP, UN Studio, NOX.

MOTION OF VARIABLE VISCOSITY LIQUIDS IN POROUS MEDIA

SHABANOV V.A.

Abstract

Motion of variable viscosity water drop in perfect soil model is viewed. Resistance forces are presented as amount sum of mass forces and forces depending on water drop speed and liquid viscosity. Resistance forces are ranged in accordance with coordinate and time. Three terms in each range are holded - quadratic terms are presented. It was shown that in this case the equation of the motion has the form of the Riccati equation. The equation factors have been defi ned experimentally. Mathematic model proves that in defi nes conditions water drop is stopped forming a slug.

ON PECULARITIES OF PRODUCTION PROCESSES AND AIR POLLUTION LEVEL, BUILDING ENTERPRISES CONSIDERED TO BE THE SOURCE OF EMISSION

POSPELOVA N.E., TIMIRBULATOVA E.K.

Abstract

The paper describes production processes of reinforced concrete structures, bricks and bitumen-concrete mixtures. The authors stress the fact that during their experiment dust-and-gas catch systems have been installed for all production processes which allocate dust. They also examine sources of contaminants emission and their dependence on diff erent production processes. The authors succeed in using the most eff ective dust-and-gas catch systems.

RESEARCH OF DIFFICULT HEAT EXCHANGE IN THE MULTILAYERED CYLINDRICAL СONSTRUCTION INCLUDING ENERGY SAVING GAS LAYERS

KUDINOV I.V., ABISHEVA L.S., BRANFILEVA A.N.

Abstract

Pilot and theoretical studies of difficult heat exchange in a gas layer which allowed to carry out the analysis of process of transfer of warmth are conducted to define a contribution of each component of heat exchange (convective heat exchange and radiation), to find equivalent coefficient of heat conductivity of a vertical cylindrical air layer on various operating modes of laboratory installation in the wide range of temperatures (from 0 -to 3000 °C). Results of research will be useful to modeling of heatexchange processes in gas layers, at a choice of the most optimum (power effective) thickness of a layer, a material of walls, environment structure, etc.

INSULATION OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS FACADES DURING MAJOR REPAIRS (APPLICABLE FOR RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS IN SAMARA REGION)

VITCHIKOV Y.S., BELIAKOV I.G., NOKHRINA E.N.

Abstract

This paper aims to provide analysis of normative requirements concerning thermal protection and energy effi ciency of those residential buildings in Samara region which are under construction or undergo major repairs. The research proves heat rate that used for heating residential buildings depends on the value of reduced resistance to heattransferring ability of the outer walls. Proper analysis of the value in question helps defi ne the optimal level of facades thermal protection. The authors present calculations and results of their experimental research of heat losses caused by building envelopes of fi ve-fl oor brick and bearing-wall constructions. The paper also describes diff erent methods of insulation of residential buildings facades and recommends how these methods should be used during major repairs.
