Аннотация
The article presents the main directions of borrowing foreign experience in Soviet tank building in the 1930s, shows the importance of foreign experience in the formation of the tank industry of the USSR in the pre-war years. The main areas of cooperation with foreign countries (Germany, USA, Great Britain) on tank building, acquisition of technologies and invitation of foreign engineers to work in the interests of domestic tank building are shown. The importance of the French experience in quality control of tank armor in order to improve the quality of work of Soviet armor factories is analyzed.
