Аннотация

Представлены неизвестные ранее факты биографии Марии Капитоновны Петровой, ученицы и соратницы академика И. П. Павлова. Изложены факты, проливающие свет на ее детские и отроческие годы, представлены биографические сведения о ее родителях, братьях и сестрах. Полученные данные позволяют по-новому интерпретировать ее решение получить высшее образование, раскрывают корни привязанности к И. П. Павлову, а также черты характера, позволившие стать героине статьи выдающимся ученым-исследователем, а не только матерью семейства.
