Modern methods of diagnostics of myocard function

Abstract

The present article is devoted to the modern methods of the identification of the viable myocardium. The pathogenesis of the hibernating myocardium and the stunned myocardium is described. The article reviews possibilities and limitations of stress echocardiography, single-photon emission tomography, positron emission tomography.
