Abstract

The review provides recent knowledge on the contribution of peripheral and central sensitization to neurobiology of migraine. Mechanism underling development of sensitization, methods of induction and study of the phenomenon are described. A correlations between neurophysiological consequences of sensitization occurred in various anatomic structures and clinical manifestations of the disease are set up.
