Abstract
Confirming on the basis of 184 cases of uterine fibroids the position expressed by Hofmeier (see this journal for 1895, p. 284) that neither complete infertility nor reduced fertility should be considered as a consequence of uterine fibroids affecting the uterus,, Кl., after observing of the case of fatal atonic postpartum hemorrhage, due to the presence of myomas in the uterus, however, cannot agree with the named author, as if the complications that occur with myomas during the act of childbirth only in rare cases cause serious danger.

Подтвердивши на основаніи 184 случаевъ фиброміомы матки положеніе, высказанное Hofmeier’омъ (см. этотъ журналъ за 1895 г. стр. 284) что, ни полное безплодіе, ни уменьшенная плодовитость не должны быть разсматриваемы какъ послѣдствія пораженія матки фиброміомами, Кl., послѣ наблюденнаго имъ случая смертельнаго атоническаго послѣродового кровотеченія, благодаря присутствію въ маткѣ міомъ, никакъ однако не можетъ согласиться съ названнымъ авторомъ, будто осложненія, встрѣчающіяся при міомахъ во время акта родовъ, только въ рѣдкихъ случаяхъ вызываютъ серьезную опасность.
