Abstract
The urgency of the problem. Myoma of the uterus is one of the most common benign tumors of the female genital organs and occupies a significant place among the pathology of the reproductive system.

The urgency of the problem. Myoma of the uterus is one of the most common benign tumors of the female genital organs and occupies a significant place among the pathology of the reproductive system. The clinical picture of uterine fibroids depends not only on the size of the tumor, but also mainly on the localization - subserous, intermuscular or submucous. The most often observed subperitoneal and interstitial location of myoma nodes, submucosal localization of the tumor occurs in 20 - 32% of patients with uterine myoma.
Material and methods. The gynecological department of the CMSC-122 has accumulated experience of 28 endoscopic and 42 laparotomy surgical interventions for multiple uterine fibroids using the LigaSure electrosurgical unit (Valleylab).
