Abstract
Peyronie's disease (PD) is an idiopathic localised fibrosis of penile tunica albuginea resulting in shortening of the involved area with consequent penile curvature and sexual dysfunction.
Surgical treatment is indicated when patients fail conservative therapies, is stable, and causes difficulties with sexual intercourse.
Reconstructive operation include shortening of the convex side, lengthening of the concave side and penile prosthesis.
Analysis of the literature review indicates that it is necessary to conduct further research on the problems of surgical treatment of Peyronie's disease.
