Abstract

The dynamics of changes in nursing education over a significant period of time, as it is done in the monograph T.V. Matveichik. “Transformation of nursing education in the history of Belarus: from the experience of the past - a step into the future”, testifies to the sequence of its changes in favor of practical orientation, the development of the concept of partnerships between a doctor, a nurse, a doctor’s assistant and a renewed interest in nursing care, due to demographic indicators similar for the European region. Against the background of serious changes in the provision of medical care to the population, due to the accelerated arrival of new information technologies, the improvement and redistribution of the functions of the doctor’s assistant and the IUCN (communicative, evidence-based practice, expert, collaboration, professional, pedagogical, moral justice) are predicted. The work is a review of the new textbook by T.V. Matveychik, issued by the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (Republic of Belarus) “Nursing Management: Study Method. manual for the specialty 1-79-01-06 “Nursing” for the system of additional education. “The article provides an analysis of normative materials based on the Concept for the Development of Nursing in the Republic of Belarus for 2021-2025 on the functions of management and organization of teamwork for chief (senior) nurses, maintaining sanitary and epidemiological well-being, preanalytical stage of laboratory examination, diagnosis of the syndrome of cruel dealing with an old person and an algorithm of actions when it is identified. The new functions of a general nurse in work with patients with chronic non-communicable diseases are presented. The modern adaptive-situational model of patient care is presented, as well as the peculiarities of work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Interest in the problem of hereditary and congenital diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract in children is under constant attention of specialists, which is associated with an increase in the possibility of diagnosis and the growth of chronic kidney diseases, a serious basis of which they constitute. A review of modern domestic and foreign periodicals about hereditary and congenital diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract, in most cases the latent nature of their course, is presented. Various nosological forms of diseases are considered. The emphasis is on the modern possibilities of medical and genetic counseling, primary prevention of hereditary and congenital diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract in pediatric practice, and their timely diagnosis.

Abstract

Arterial hypertension is currently the greatest non-infectious pandemic in the history of mankind, determining the structure of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Episodes of high blood pressure in adolescents do not always mean stable hypertension in the future, which is why primary and secondary prevention is so important for them. During the academic year, adolescent blood pressure was monitored. Despite the methodological problems of the study, such as the impossibility of taking into account the data of the Child Development Stories (form 112 / y), the limited equipment of the school’s medical office, it was possible to obtain data that correlate with the results of other researchers. The need for preventive measures has been proven.

Pompe disease (glycogenosis type II) is an autosomal recessive rare hereditary disease of a systemic nature. This disease is all about deficiency of the alpha-glucosidase enzyme which accumulate in lysosomes; a-1,4-glucosidase helps to break down glycogen. Because of mutation in the gene GAA which encodes enzyme glycogen accumulate in various organs such as heart, muscle, liver, brain.
