SUBJECTIVE REALITY AND ITS DIMENSIONS: SPACE AND TIME

Taysina E.A., Apkin R.N.

Abstract

Our theses are: First, in subjective reality, time is three-dimensional, too - same as space; and the latter can «work» in a similar way as time. Secondly, primordial time is young and not ancient. Thirdly, the locus of subjectivity is elastic and not determined by brains’ boundaries. It diminishes like chagrin skin if there are no events, whereas time without events disappears at all - and vice versa. Events are the dimensions of subjective time/space continuum. Relativity of subjective time/space continuum was the starting point for discovering this relativity in objective matter, alongside with the mathematical account or ahead of it. Postmodernists’ account of events important for «subjective» time is of interest.

CYBERNETIC ART. FROM THE ORIGINS TO THE PRESENT

Brazhnikov A.M.

Abstract

Cybernetic art is a branch of technological art that originated at the intersection of sculpture and the science of Cybernetics. The founder of this direction is considered to be the French sculptor Nicolas Schaeffer, who in 1956 presented the world the first sculptural composition, which clearly traced the principles of Cybernetics. This article analyzes the creativity of artists who worked in the direction of cybernetic art in different periods of development of this direction. A detailed review of the most interesting and well-known works is conducted. Cybernetic art works should be considered not only from the point of view of their aesthetic and artistic value, but also from the scientific and technical point of view, since the direction itself could only arise at a certain stage of the technical development of mankind. The article clearly demonstrates that the works of some artists used the most modern achievements of electronics, computer technology and the science of Cybernetics itself.

THE PROBLEM OF HYSTERESIS IN ONTOGNOSEOLOGY

Ognev A.N.

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of hysteresis, taken in the context of ontognoseology as a doctrine of the essential unity of being and thinking. The logic of substantiating the problematic status of this concept in classical philosophy is shown, characteristic ways of its positioning in various philosophical doctrines are revealed, the limits of its productive generalization are characterized. The specificity of the essential connection of this concept with the attitudes of philosophical realism is shown. The main emphasis of the research is placed on the ontognoseological concept of the Soviet philosopher M.A. Lifshits. The fundamental principles of the theory of distinctions and their connection with the heuristic value of the hypothesis of "double eternity" are analyzed.

Filatov T.V.

Abstract

The article deals with the classification of the miraculous, which appears in the main philosophical work of Yakov Golosovker "Imaginative absolute". The article also clarifies Golosovker's thesis about the connection between the logic of myth and the logic of modern science.

PHYSIOGNOMY AS A PROPER METHOD OF CULTURAL STUDIES

Kostetskii V.V.

Abstract

The article "Physiognomy as a proper method of cultural studies" criticizes the definition of cultural studies as a science of culture. There are many cultural Sciences, as well as natural Sciences, but when it comes to a single science, its specificity, and, accordingly, the subject, is determined by the presence of its own method. It is impossible to consider "culture" as a subject of cultural studies, and "cultural method" as a method. The author of the article, based on the history of cultural anthropology shows that cultural studies originally came from the physiognomic method in the disclosure of the "spirit of laws" (Montesquieu), "spirit of language" (Humboldt), "spirit of music" (Nietzsche), the "spirit of capitalism" (Weber), "school spirit" (Tolstoy), "the spirit of the age" (Spengler), - which together just demonstrate their subject of cultural studies.
