Abstract
The World Skills movement provides for raising the status and standards of professional training and qualifications all over the world and for popularizing working professions through international competitions. The World Skills aids in attracting attention to working professions and creates conditions for developing the high professional standards. The main activities of the movement are to organize and hold professional competitions of different levels. Currently, it is one of the largest movements of this kind.
