Abstract
The article is devoted to the stages of the history of the Samara Military Medical Institute. The leadership of the Ministry of Defense set the task for its employees to improve the quality of training of qualified military medical personnel and open new prospects for the further growth of professional skills of specialists, as well as improve the material base of the diagnostic and treatment process. Many of the graduates subsequently became prominent leaders of the military medical service and scientists.
