Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of modern approaches to the provision of medical care for the bites of poisonous snakes. The differential diagnostic signs of bites of asps and viper aspis are given. Research on the development of non-specific means and schemes for the treatment of poisoning and saving the lives of victims remains an urgent task. An analysis of literature materials devoted to the search for approaches to providing medical care for snake bites made it possible to determine a complex of therapeutic areas, including the use of analgesics, antihistamines, anti-inflammatory, anticholinesterase, anticholinergic and anticoagulant drugs, and in severe intoxications, also means for combined infusion therapy. An information and analytical review of domestic and foreign clinical guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of snake venom poisoning made it possible to formulate an algorithm for providing medical care to the affected.
