Abstract
111 patients with pulmonary diseases were totally screened with help of monitoring computed pulse oximetry in order to evaluate prevalence rate of night hypoxia manifestations. High prevalence rate of light (15%) and severe (14%) grade of sleep apnoea and also high percentage of prevalence rate of moderate (16%) and severe (11%) night hypoxia were revealed. In 6% of patients were revealed both severe grade of sleep apnoea and night hypoxia. The most frequent breathing disorders were registered in case chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma especially when accompanying obesity.
